HEALTHY AND SUSTAINABLE DESIGN
Linda believes strongly in design that is friendly to people and the environment. She started working with non-toxic materials out of necessity, due to her own chemical sensitivities. Now, more and more people are concerned about indoor air quality as an important issue to our health and well being. Linda believes strongly that Healthy and sustainable materials and design practices should be incorporated into all projects.
There are many ways to incorporate these GREEN design
practices and still be cost effective. The results are
less impact on the Environment, better productivity
and better health for the occupant.
Linda was the designer on a Platimun LEED project; The Currents; by Windmill Developments. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. This groundbreaking project was completed in 2007.
